From Forest to Workshop: Our Story
Two Decades in the Timber
Before I ever picked up a sander or sold a single slab, I spent 20 years as a lumberjack. Those two decades were spent in the heart of the woods, learning the language of trees. I didn't just see logs; I saw grain patterns, density, and potential. I learned exactly how a tree grows, how it falls, and how the seasons affect the quality of the timber.
The Maker’s Perspective
After 20 years on the ground, I moved into the workshop. Transitioning into fine woodworking changed everything. It gave me a deep appreciation for the "end-user" experience. I quickly realized that a beautiful finished project depends entirely on the quality of the raw material. I started looking for wood that didn't just look good on the surface, but was stable, properly dried, and cut to showcase its natural character.
Serving the Woodworking Community
Today, I’ve combined my life’s work into one mission: supplying high-quality lumber specifically for woodworkers. Because I spent 20 years harvesting trees and another several years crafting furniture, I know exactly what you’re looking for when you walk into a lumber yard. I don't sell anything I wouldn't be proud to put a chisel to myself.
