I. Foundation & Floor Detail

The foundation utilizes three pressure-treated skids to distribute weight and prevent ground moisture from reaching the framing.

Assembly: Check for squareness by measuring diagonals. Diagonals for an 8x10 frame must be exactly 12' 9-5/8".

II. Wall Framing Schedules

Sidewalls (10' Walls)

Build two identical 10' walls. Each wall requires a bottom plate, two top plates, and 9 studs.

Front Wall (Door Opening)

Standard rough opening for a 48" double door is 51" wide to allow for the jamb and shimming.

III. Roof Geometry & Rafters

Rafters are 2x4 material. For an 8' span with a 6/12 pitch:
