Step 1: Ladder Assembly
Build two identical "ladders" by screwing 4 slats across two corner posts. Use 1/4" spacers between slats for perfect airflow.
Step 2: Box Construction
Connect your two ladders using the remaining 8 slats to form a square box. Ensure the box is square by measuring diagonally.
Step 3: The False Bottom
Install 2x2 cleats on the inside walls 12" from the top. Lay 1x6 boards across the cleats. This saves on soil and ensures drainage.
